Why I’m Excited to Try the #SparklingDetox Challenge

Over the next month, I’m teaming up with Gerolsteiner to try their Sparkling Mineral Water. I first tried the world’s #1 sparkling natural mineral water at Blogfest in July and was pretty impressed. I’ve tried many sparkling waters before but this one was a bit more bubbly in my opinion. At the time, I had no clue there were so many potential benefits to drinking it as well! After checking out their website, I learned that there were quite a few. That’s why I’m excited to participate in the Gerolsteiner 5-Day #SparklingDetox Challenge.

The biggest reason I want to #SparklingDetox is to see what benefits come from drinking mineral water. According to the Gerolsteiner website, the water is not only hydrating but has other health benefits as well! One thing I found surprising is that it contains both calcium and magnesium – which helps with metabolism and healthy bones, muscles, and teeth!

The #SparklingDetox Challenge will be September 12th through the 16th. The challenge is to drink only Gerolsteiner Sparkling Mineral Water for 5 days straight. To keep up with the challenge, you can join the Sparkling Detox Facebook Group by clicking THIS LINK. In the Facebook group, you will find tips and tricks for a healthy diet, as well as some exercises!

  1. I’ve never really liked sparkling water but I may enjoy it with fresh lemon/lime added (like Jessica suggested). Thanks for clarifying about still eating food – I though you were going on a 5 day water detox and I was worried about it! LOL.
