Cafe Express Review

So I’m not going to lie to you. I thought the newly re-opened Cafe Express was going to be a typical casual restaurant and similar to the ones already around town. I was dead. Wrong!

Located on McKinney Avenue in uptown Dallas, this counter-serve restaurant is for breakfast, salads, sandwiches and pasta. Stations were set-up throughout for us to try yummy foods.

The food was not mediocre by any means. Even the SALADS were yumsville! Ginger and I really enjoyed the caesar salad which was an original Chef Del Grande recipe. Like, I would go back just for that salad, no joke.

We also had the Mediterranean Salmon and Spanish Chicken Romesco (pictured below) and they were exquisite. I was so impressed by the presentation of the dishes as well.

Let us not forget the most important part of a meal, dessert! They had some brownie bites and cheesecake soufflé set out and I immediately flocked over to that table. That soufflé was to die for.

I really enjoyed everything about this night – the ambiance, the architecture of the restaurant with its industrial vibes, and the customer service throughout the night by the chefs and staff. We even got to meet an investor and owner of the chain and they were super passionate about the food and atmosphere they want to provide the consumer. Also, they truly put a lot of thought into the creation of this renovation and have taken the Cafe Express brand to another level with this re-opening.

Try it out and let me know what you thought of Cafe Express below! Did you love the atmosphere and food? What are some things that are important to you when you go out to eat?

This event was hosted by Cafe Express, however, all views, opinions, and tastes are my own. ?
