When I go to Central Market for a grocery haul, I always end up coming home with new things that I’ve never tried. For the past few years, I’ve been doing all of my grocery hauls on Instagram. It’s been fun, and videos are great, but I wanted to start doing them in a way that you (and I) can reference back to!

This week, I went to Central Market with a goal of reshooting some old blog posts. I want to remake my Zucchini Lasagna Rollups and my Eggplant & Zucchini Melange (a recipe I whipped together after trying it at another grocery story.) I also picked up some food for quick meals, snacks, and a few extra things that I decided I needed in the moment. So here it is.
What I purchased on my Grocery Haul from Central Market this week:
Some produce…

I get some form of produce every time I grocery shop. Because I’m trying to eat more veggies, I got some items that i can easily sneak into meals.
- green peppers
- red peppers
- lemons
- limes
- zucchini
- potatoes
- red onions
- sweet onions
- asparagus
- eggplant
- garlic
- grapes
- sweet tomatoes
- sugar bomb tomatoes
- mushrooms
- basil
Some dairy…
I needed some ricotta cheese for my Zucchini Lasagna Bowl! I saw these R!FRAF ricotta cups with sun-dried tomatoes and thought that would be a yummy addition (spoiler alert: they were).
I also picked up some of my second favorite eggs, Vital Farms, because I was running out. (For the record, my favorite are Happy Eggs – the blue and brown ones, because their yolks are SO orange and creamy.)
Not pictured is all of the cheese I purchased. I got some mozzarella, sharp cheddar, and a wedge of parmesan.
Some snacks…

I’ve been eating so many of these Central Market Waffle Cut chips! They’re so dang crunchy but also super light but also perfectly salty. I’m obsessed. I also snagged some Jeni’s Dairy-Free ice cream because, believe it or not, I’m lactose intolerant.
I spotted these Strong Roots Spinach Bites and had to try them – I am trying to sneak in more veggies afterall. What I love about these is that they get super crispy in my air fryer, and they are made with such great ingredients! Spinach, Sunflower Oil, Potato Flakes, Crumb [Carrot, Potato, Yeast], Onion, Water, Cooked Sunflower Seeds, Wheat Flour, Salt, Dried Vegetables [Onion, Tomato, Garlic], Black Pepper. (pulled from their site) Pretty excited to try some of their other products.
Some meat…
I have been told by nutritionists not to eat deli meat, but that’s just not going to happen! I love it as a snack and I love it in my omelets. So we compromise and I buy True Story’s ham (sometimes their turkey) because their products are organic and not full of junk! Plus it tastes dang good.
I also had to pick up some ground beef and italian sausage for thos Zucchini Lasagna Rollups I was telling you about earlier. If you’ve never been to Central Market, just know that you will be colored IMPRESSED by their meat and seafood sections. I almost never purchase prepackaged there anymore.
On my way out, I saw these frozen Annasea Poke packs. They were like $10 each and have two servings which is WAY cheaper than what I spend for restaurant poke! I’ve already eaten both packs because they’re that good. I just made some rice, cut up some veggies, and threw in the poke. Fair warning: you do have to let them thaw and it will take a minimum of 2 hours depending on the method. But it’s way worth it!
Pizza, duh…
I’ve been trying a new pizza each week (ridiculous, I know). This Dogtown pepperoni was decent! It’s SUPER thing and SUPER crunchy. It also has the most pepperoni on it compared to others I’ve tried. Like legit, good luck trying to take a bite without a pepperoni on it.
My biggest issue was that it didn’t seem to have much flavor. Like maybe its diet pizza and I didn’t know? Or low sodium? IDK but I had to add parmesan, salt, and Italian seasoning to that sucker. I also went out and bought ranch after eating it because I don’t want to get caught with that again. (PS, if you’re craving pizza now, check out these 9 delivery apps that will bring you that and more!)
Cutting boards…
I also got two cutting boards (and tissue paper but who cares) on this grocery haul at Central Market. I am excited about the cutting boards thought because I’ve been needing a new one for a while. The big Architec Concave cutting board that you see pictured here it concave so it catches all the juices if you’re cutting meat. I don’t cook THAT much steak, but I like this concave because it kind of keeps stuff in place as I chop it.
I also got a much smaller Architec Gripper Bar cutting board (you can kind of see it in the corner) that is PERFECT for when I need to cut just one vegetable. You know how sometimes you jsut need an onion for a dish, or a pepper for some hummus? It’s literally the best size and it fits in my drawers.

Welp, those are all of my groceries from this Central Market grocery haul. Admittedly, I’ve been grocery shopping twice since then because I always forget things bhaha. It’s fine – totally fine. I’m used to it AND I love grocery shopping.
