How to Host a Game Night

My friends laughed when they showed up at my place and I told them I didn’t have any games. Let’s be real, game night is just another excuse to see some of your favorite people. My Boozy Game Night was everything – and we had a blast.

The Theme

Honestly, I’m extra AF so I had to send out a themed invite. Since my party was between the holidays, I told all of my friends to come dressed in Christmas sweaters or onesies. They did NOT disappoint.

The Games

I wasn’t joking when I said I didn’t have any games. I literally brought a deck of cards and Cards for Humanity. But don’t you worry. We still had plenty of games to play. When my friends texted me asking what they could bring, I told them their favorite game their favorite drink…which brings me to my next point.

The Food

I know better than to have my friends over without having plenty of food. For my party, I teamed up with Buca di Beppo to cater my game night. They HOOKED US UUUUP with one of their Celebration Packages – which includes one salad, two pastas, one entree, one dessert and house baked bread. Talk about a LOT of food. My friends loved it. You know what I loved? That they put the food in labeled containers. Not once did I have to answer, “What is dis?” Not that I would’ve minded, but the label were awesome and kinda cute.

I also brought some pastries, chips, and pork rinds for people to snack on as the night went on. IDK about you but I love a good munching food when I’m yelling UNO at my friends.

The biggest things to keep in mind when you’re hosting a game night, is to have fun and enjoy it. We can get super stressed out when having friends over, but for what? All people really want to do is get together, laugh, and eat some good food. Relax, enjoy the games, and have the BEST time with your friends!
