  • 1 can chickpeas, drained but reserve the aquafaba (liquid in the can)
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tbsp paprika (I prefer smoked)
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste


  1. Throw all of the ingredients (except the aquafaba) into a blender and blend. If necessary, add about 3 tbsp or more of the aquafaba to get the consistency you like. Voila - you've made hummus! I told you it was an easy one. 🙂
