McDonald’s Lunch Bunch

One of the biggest changes in my life as an almost 30-year-old is the fact that most of my friends are moms. I freaking love it. I get to play with their kids, but not have the responsibility of actually having one (yet). Because I have so many close mom friends, I am exposed to some of the problems moms face. One of the biggest ones I hear is that they have issues meeting other moms that they have things in common with. This is where McDonald’s Lunch Bunch comes in.

Lunch bunch is a new initiative hosted by McDonald’s of North Texas and City Moms Blog. The purpose is to invite local moms and dads into the restaurant to learn about McDonald’s and its commitment to education, food, and giving back in local communities. While I’m not a mom, I can definitely appreciate these things McDonald’s is committed to.

Lunch Bunch is the go-to event to mix and mingle with other parents in the community while enjoying family-friendly activities! It’s so much fun to hear about how something so simple can improve the lives of my friends and their kids. Especially for kids who don’t have siblings, it can be really awesome for them to interact with others their age.

This weekend, Lunch Bunch will take place at McDonald’s at 216 S. Coit Road, Plano, TX 75075. It’s going on from 12-1 pm so you can grab some lunch while mingling with other parents. The December Lunch Bunch will also feature a speaker from Ronald McDonald House Charities and focus on how McDonald’s gives back to local communities.

On top of that, kids will be able to participate in holiday-themed crafts and activities. Plus, there will be a special surprise holiday character on site for photos! How exciting is that?

If you know a parent who could benefit from this event, let them know so they can participate! It will be a great way to meet other parents and let the kids play with others around their age! I’m sure one day I’ll look back on this excited to do the same.
