5 Easy Ways To Sneak More Veggies Into Your Diet

I think I speak for almost everyone when I say we could stand to have more veggies in our diets. I’m good at eating everything else – meat, carbs, cheese, carbs, wine, cheese, carbs – but sometimes I forget to put veggies on those carbs! Luckily, there are some easy ways to mix more veggies into your diet.

You can cram a ton of veggies into juice and mask them with sweet flavors.

For instance, one of my favorite juices consists of kale, apples, ginger, lemon, and carrots! It sounds a little out there but it tastes like a refreshing apple lemonade.

Blend them up for breakfast or for an afternoon snack.

This is a great way to hide leafy greens like kale and spinach if you don’t like the taste.

Meat Loaf

You can throw almost any vegetable into meat loaf and the taste will be hidden! I’m talking carrots, kale, brussel sprouts. Any healthy veggie that you aren’t normally a fan of.

Serve your breakfast on a plate of greens.

If you’re a bacon, eggs, and toast type of person try adding some greens to your plate!

Sautee up some spinach and add a few slices of tomato to your plate!

Not only is it going to add nutrients, but it will make your plate way more Instagram-worthy!

Bring bite-size veggies with you everywhere.

Keep baby carrots or cut up celery in your purse throughout the day!

Slice up some peppers, green, red, yellow or orange, to snack on when you get the munchies.

Studies show that just you’re more likely to eat healthy options if you have them readily available.
