Three Reasons to Visit 3 Stacks Smoke & Tap House

Hello, ya’ll, Sylvia here. I was invited to go try out 3 Stacks Smoke and Tap House since it has just been renovated so here’s my take on the experience!

Located in Frisco, 3 Stacks Smoke and Tap House is a full-service barbecue house that has just re-opened its doors after a whole slew of renovations to its menu, look, and feel. They now make everything from scratch and even have their donuts made in-house!

The Atmosphere

This is the perfect southern, country hangout if you’re looking to relax with a drink in hand. It’s a casual setting with TVs and a partially enclosed porch area with a nice breeze rolling through. I loved the amount of space and seating available so that if you wanted to bring in a small group you could.

The Smokehouse Flatbread Pizza

As part of appetizers that came out, the flatbread was a table favorite that I’m sure we will come back for. It certainly had a nice smoky, barbecue flavor with just the right amount of sausage.

The Dessert

When I dug into the banana bread pudding I had no idea how shocked my tastebuds were going to be! It was absolutely out of this world. The co-owner of 3 Stacks, Andrew, laughed at my expression as I closed my eyes to savor the moment. He stated that they put donuts in the pudding and those were made fresh and in-house. It not only tasted like comfort and home, but it was just the right amount of “rich” without being too heavy at all.

I thought I was beyond fullsies, but then I couldn’t help but taste the other dessert that my S.O., Ryan, got. There was a Caramelized Banana Crème Brûlée that I finished right down to the bottom of the tin it was in without even realizing it. It was light and creamy and just the perfect amount of glaze finish at the top.

I probably would go back for the dessert, ya’ll. I’m just sayin’. That’s how good it was!

This event was hosted by 3 Stacks Smoke and Tap House, however, all views, opinions, and tastes are my own. ?
